I have observed that those who become and remain successful, stay really hungry. They know that Nothing fails like success and that when you’re successful, it’s easy to stop outlearning, outthinking and outexecuting everyone around you. They know that Success is Beautiful. And dangerous.
So, “Devote yourself to learning something new about your field of mastery every day as success belongs to the relentless learners. Because as you know more, you can achieve more” – author unknown.
One group of relentless players in the wedding industry would be the venue decorators. They almost have no choice than to keep learning and I make bold to say they sure make Nigerian Weddings beautiful. I call it “décor gone wild”, you either go lavish or don’t even try. This edition focuses on 6 handpicked decorators (part 1) who have in no small way upped their game in the last few years. These names will certainly not have popped up 10years ago, but today’s bride is loving them.
Another word for relentless would be the acumen to successfully be on top of a business that started over 35 years ago in one little room and still stand today as the largest Aso Ebi Company in Nigeria. Toyin Bakare shares the SAS Textile story and how it is perfectly managed by every member of the Family since the demise of Mama Sola Adedeji.
And we say thank you to our EL TV presenter cover girl for gracing this edition’s my “My White My Trad” theme style shoot.
Don’t forget that every time you do what scares you, you take back the power that you gave to the thing that scared you. And so you become more powerful.
